The One Programs are a series of career development initiatives designed to create pathways for the workforce of the future. While the regional program focuses on all ages, including college students, the Bedford emphasis has thus far been on middle and high school ages.

One particularly successful component of the program involves surveying high school juniors and seniors in order to expose those students to potential careers in their field of interest. The Office of Economic Development serves as the conduit for that all important link between business and education, and a Steering Committee made up of representatives from both industry and education guides the program.
